Originally established in 2006 under the name Coaching Connexions, our journey has been one of growth and transformation. In 2019, we entered an exciting new chapter as Access Sport, following a strategic merger with Access Creative College – formerly known as Access to Music and recognised as the largest private training provider in the UK. This partnership has allowed us to combine expertise, expand opportunities, and strengthen our commitment to delivering high-quality education and career pathways in sport and beyond.

To create this authentic culture, we have worked tirelessly to install our core principles into the environment, our staff, partnerships and most importantly our learners in order to bring our philosophy to life.
Over the years we have continued to adapt our study and sport development programmes embracing new technology and ways of learning to support in developing the most well rounded, motivated academic sports students and athletes in the sector.
At Access Sport the career is the goal and therefore we are determined to make sure our programmes are focused on the course and pathway and not just the qualification; this means seizing and seeking out every possible learning and development opportunity to enrich their CVs with relevant experiences and skills and not simply helping learners achieve a qualification.
We also aim to ensure that we utilise the best possible resources in the area in order to maximise the student experience and enrichment. In order to help us work towards both of these missions, we have partnered with a number of different organisations and technical partners who each play a key role in the delivery of our courses and pathways
