The Access Sport Bedfordshire FA Male & Female Education Academy provides ambitious young people aged 16–19 with a clear pathway into the football and wider sports industry. Combining academic study with elite football development, the programme delivers a unique environment where students can grow both on and off the pitch.
Delivered across two modern training venues, the dedicated male and female academies allow students to gain recognised sport qualifications while experiencing life within a professional football setting. Whether your goal is to progress as a player or pursue a career within sport, our experienced coaching and education staff support every learner to achieve their full potential.
Students regularly progress into university, U.S. scholarships, apprenticeships, and employment within the sports sector.

Being based within a live football organisation allows students to gain hands-on experience across areas such as community coaching, event delivery, media, officiating and more…
Dedicated professional development sessions are built into the timetable, helping students strengthen employability skills, expand industry networks, and prepare for future careers.
Students will also study towards additional FA accredited qualifications to enrichen their CV’s and employability:
FA Refereeing Qualification
FA Introduction to Coaching Football
FA Safeguarding Children Certification
First Aid in Football Training
Students work towards a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sports Development and Coaching, covering a diverse range of sports units alongside a specialist career pathway in coaching & teaching or sports science.

The on-pitch player development programme supports both aspiring elite players looking to progress as far as they can up the football pyramid and students aiming for careers in coaching, analysis, or sports science but wishing to continue to play recreationally.
Training is delivered by UEFA and FA-qualified coaches through structured sessions designed to improve technical ability, physical performance, and tactical understanding.
Students also get hands on with professional performance technology, including VEO cameras, analysis and GPS tracking systems, allowing them to analyse performance and build valuable experience portfolios. Perfect for those pursuing a career in coaching, analysis or sports science.
Teams represent the Bedfordshire FA Education Academy in competitive weekly college leagues and cup competitions throughout the academic year, providing regular match exposure and development opportunities.
