Delivered at Dorchester Town F.C, the Champion Football Academy Football Education Programme powered by Access Sport offers passionate 16–18 year-olds a fantastic opportunity to combine their football ambitions with further education.
This career-focused football education programme allows players to develop their potential on the pitch while preparing for exciting future careers in the sport, fitness and leisure industries.
You’ll learn from expert tutors and highly qualified UEFA and FA coaches, gaining the skills, qualifications and experiences needed to progress into university, U.S. scholarships, apprenticeships, or employment in sport.

Our education programme is built around the Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sports Development – a practical, coursework-based qualification equivalent to three A Levels.
Alongside the core qualification students have a professional development timetable where they can focus on specialist career pathways including coaching, sport science, analysis and fitness.
The professional development programme focuses on developing real world employability and life skills along with the industry experiences to prepare students for their next steps and future careers across sport.
Established links within the community and grassroots football enables passionate students the opportunity to gain valuable work experiences across a variety of roles that not only enhance their CV’s but develops key skills in communication, leadership and teamwork.
Throughout their time on the programme, students can take part in pathway and sport industry tours, player development experiences, and travel opportunities designed to broaden horizons and inspire futures.

This elite training environment not only provides students the opportunity to develop as a player to their highest ability, but provides those passionate about coaching, sports science and performance analysis with the tools to support our football development team in the delivery and analysis of the sessions.
Offering a range of elite and development teams to suit each students ability, players compete in highly competitive college and FA leagues, including the FA Youth Cup and National Youth Alliance League.
Students also have the opportunity to represent Dorchester Town F.C, with strong links to U18, U23 and senior first-team football for those that catch the eye.
Annual tour opportunities are also available to represent the Champion Football Academy overseas and compete against teams with alternative playing styles and tactics.
