Based at the fantastic King George V Community Sports Hub, the Chester FC Football Education programme provides students aged 16-18 the opportunity to study towards a Level 3 Extended Diploma qualification, which is attached to a career-focused sport industry pathway programme in either coaching/teaching or sports science.

Students study towards a two year Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sports Development and Coaching qualification that is attached to one of our industry career focused pathways in either coaching & teaching or sports science. Both the qualification and course pathways are 100% practical and cover a wide variety of topics across a wide range of sporting careers.
The course allows students to focus on developing industry relevant skills, knowledge, and experiences to support their progression onto university, USA scholarships, apprenticeships, or employment.
Being based within a live football business provides students with unrivalled opportunities for invaluable work experience across a range of disciplines including community coaching, physio, media, event management and more.
Professional development hours are also built into students timetables which enables them to gain work experience, transferable employability and important life skills, contacts and industry experiences that supports them in their future career journeys.

This professional technology is also available for students aspiring to be sports scientists, analysts, and coaches, allowing them to get hands on and develop a portfolio of experience that support their future career aspirations.
Representing the club across a range of competitive national and college league and cup competitions, including the prestigious FA Youth Cup, there is also the opportunity for those who excel to progress to the first team squad.
