The ET7 Academy Female Scholarship Programme is about much more than football. It provides young players aged 16-19 with the confidence, education, and opportunities they need to succeed in sport and beyond.
Students leave the programme with a recognised qualification, valuable industry experience, and clear pathways into university, overseas scholarships, football, apprenticeships, or careers across the sports sector.
For young players who are passionate about football and want to build a future around the sport they love, ET7 Academy offers the perfect environment to dream, believe, and achieve.

ET7 Academy Scholarship Programme Manchester

Students study towards a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sports Development and Coaching which is designed for students who are interested in working in the sports industry and want to develop their knowledge, skills, and confidence.
During the course, you’ll learn about a wide range of topics, including Careers in the sports industry, health and wellbeing, sports coaching and leadership, sports psychology, anatomy and physiology, fitness testing and improving performance and much more!
Entry Requirements
You will need 4 GCSEs at Grade 4 or above, ideally including Maths and English.
Don’t meet the requirements?
No problem. You can start with our one year Level 2 Sports Coaching course. If you achieve a Merit grade, you can then move on to the Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sports Development and Coaching.
The course is highly practical and incorporates professional development hours that allows students to develop real industry and employability skills while exploring career pathways such as coaching, teaching, sports science, physio, events, athlete performance and more…
Students also have the opportunity to apply for funded career focused international sports tours that are designed to broaden horizons and give them valuable experience within the global sports industry.

Players train under UEFA and FA qualified coaches, following a professional training programme that focuses on technical ability, tactical awareness, fitness, and mental resilience.
Performance technology, including VEO video analysis and Playertek GPS vests allows students interested in coaching, sports science or performance analysis to gain hands-on experience while maximising personal and team performance.
Students will also benefit from weekly strength and conditioning or recovery sessions in the fantastic state-of-the-art gym, helping them develop physically and mentally as athletes.
Matchday Wednesday’s see’s students represent the ET7 Academy across national league and cup competitions.
Our dedicated team of coaches will support talented players with opportunities to impress and progress into women’s football through the academy’s coaching network and club links.
