The Tranmere Rovers F.C Football Education Programme provides students aged 16-18 the opportunity to study towards a Level 3 Extended Diploma qualification which is attached to a career focused sport industry pathway programme in either coaching/teaching or sports science. Developing as players to their highest ability with fantastic player pathways through our highly qualified coaching team, students will also be driven to achieve academically, progressing onto university, U.S Scholarships, Apprenticeships or straight into direct employment.

Students study towards a two year Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sports Development and Coaching qualification that is attached to one of our industry career focused pathways in either coaching & teaching or sports science. Both the qualification and course pathways are 100% practical and cover a wide variety of topics across a wide range of sporting careers.
The course allows students to focus on developing industry relevant skills, knowledge and experiences to support their progression onto university, U.S Scholarships, Apprenticeships or direct employment.
Being based within a live football business provides students with great opportunities to gain invaluable work experiences across a range of disciplines including community coaching, physio, media, event management and more.
Professional development hours are also built into students timetables which enables them to gain work experience, transferable employability and important life skills, contacts and industry experiences that supports them within their future career journeys.

This professional technology is also available for students aspiring to be sports scientists, analysts and coaches to get hands on a develop a portfolio of experience that support their future career aspirations.
Representing the club across a range of competitive national and college league and cup competitions including the prestigious FA Youth Cup, there is also the chance for those that catch the eye to be rewarded with opportunities to be involved or earn a first team contract.
