The Hyde United F.C Football Education Programme provides students aged 16-18 the opportunity to study towards a Level 2 or Level 3 Extended Diploma qualification which is attached to a career focused sport industry pathway programme of experiences in either coaching and teaching or sports science. Developing as players to their highest ability through our highly qualified coaching team, students will be driven to achieve academically, progressing onto university, U.S Scholarships, Apprenticeships or straight into direct employment.

Students study towards a two year Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sports Development and Coaching qualification that is attached to one of our industry career focused pathways in either coaching & teaching or sports science. Both the qualification and course pathways are 100% practical and cover a wide variety of topics across a wide range of sporting careers.
The course allows students to focus on developing industry relevant skills, knowledge and experiences to support their progression onto university, U.S Scholarships, Apprenticeships or our Level 4 HNC qualification.
For those that don’t meet the level 3 entry criteria, we also offer a one year Level 2 Diploma in Physical Preparation & Employability which upon passing provides students the opportunity to progress onto our Level 3 Extended Diploma or future careers within areas such as the public sector.
Being based within a live football business provides students with great opportunities to gain invaluable work experiences across a range of disciplines including community coaching, physio, media, event management and more.
Professional development hours are also built into students timetables which enables them to gain transferable employability and important life skills, contacts and industry experiences that supports them within their future career journeys.

Students train everyday with our highly qualified UEFA coaches and FA educators at the fantastic Hyde United 3G pitch, developing as players physically and technically utilising the latest in performance technology (VEO Cameras, Playertek GPS Vests and Sports Coaching Session Planner). This professional technology is also available for students aspiring to be sports scientists, analysts and coaches to get hands on a develop a portfolio of experience that support their future career aspirations.
Representing the club across a range of competitive national and college league and cup competitions including the prestigious FA Youth Cup, there is also the chance for those that catch the eye to be rewarded with opportunities to be involved or earn a first team contract.
International tours also take place annually with a range of career focused and player development trips on offer for students to experience.
