Community Sport and Health Officer - Level 3 Apprenticeship

  • Apprenticeship
The Community Sport and Health Officer Level 3 Apprenticeship standard combines employment and continued study for learners looking to engage people in sport and physical activity across local communities

An apprenticeship is the perfect way for individuals to earn an income while continuing to develop personally, professionally and academically, while providing employers with valuable skilled staff to enhance or fill skills gaps within their business.

The key role of a Community Sport and Health Officer is to initiate behaviour change in local residents with regards engagement in sport and physical activity across local communities. By working within and across local organisations individuals will scope, organise and coordinate the delivery of opportunities for local communities to get more physically active.

The  Community Sport and Health Officer Level 3 Apprenticeship is also a popular pathway for our further education students looking to enter into sport or community coaching upon completion of their Level 2 or Level 3 Extended Diploma Studies with us at Access Sport.
